We have a requirement where the customer wants to move from Cisco UCS B200 M3 to M5.
Existing hardware includes:
UCS B200 M3 and M4 , UCS FI 6248UP, Cisco IOM 2208XP running UCSM 3.2
Q1. Is it okay to have both UCS B200 M4 and UCS B200 M5 server? Is there any compatibility/performance issue as both server will have different CPU?
Q2. Is it mandatory to upgrade to UCSM 4.0 or later as while ordering B200 M5 on CCW only UCSM 4.0 option is available?
Q3. What is the difference between ordering B200 M5 as standalone and B200 M5 as chassis option?
