I am trying to upgrade an environment with ~700 LUNs to vSphere 7.0. After applying the UCS firmware 4.1(3) to the blade I have then upgraded from ESXi 7.0 from 6.5U3. What I have noticed is that numerous LUNS are missing. This appears to be since the fnic driver is replaced by the nfnic driver. I have found a post on NetApp support detailing this phenomenon when upgrading from 6.5 to 6.7 and this details disabling the nfnic driver to use the fnic instead. The problem I have is that the fnic drivers is not listed as being supported on ESXi7 so I cannot do this workaround. Has anyone else encountered this issue and do you know how to get around it?
