We're working on installing Windows Server 2016 for our UCS B series blades on SAN LUNs. the installation process prompts us to load driver, i assume that's the VIC driver. I downloaded B series UCS Drivers package which contains VIC driver. Now i tried to load to the installation process via mapping the iso file to one of the removable drive on the blade, however, i'm getting the Invalid File Type message.

Greetings.
I couldn't replicate your issue in the lab.
If you have already re-downloaded the Windows drivers ISO, maybe try extracting the \Storage\Cisco\VIC\W2K16\x64 folder to your local workstation. Then use the virtual media option 'Create image' using that one folder. This should create a very small ISO to mount.
Thanks,

Kirk, we got past the loading VIC driver step, now we're stuck on the following. It threw an error when we selected an allocated space for Windows install. We tried formatting the space but still no good.

Unless Windows 2016 has added a multipath module for their installer, you can only have one path to the storage lun. You can re-enable multiple paths after install is complete.
