Serverport in Trunk mode

We are trying to use port 7 on our interconnect as a serverport.

I can configure it as a serverport but it will switch over to Trunk and not to Fabric like the others we have set up.

This port is in grace period maybe this has something to do with this?

What is port 7 connected to?

Can you also provide the output from UCSM CLI:

connect nxos

show int brief

Robert

Might also want to try an unconfigure and reconfigure it  - if you haven't already.

Robert

Thanks Robert for taking time to answer.

Its connected to a new chassi that we hace installed and connected to the interconnects. Port 7 on both and it shows trunk on A and B.

Yes I have reconfigured first it sets to access then trunk, not fabric like the others.

I can provide the output from that command tomorrow when Im back at work.

You can close this case the new chassi was in decommison

state and as son we commison the cassi the ports became fabric and everything is working.
