Hello fellow experts,
I'm in the process of configuring smart call home for our environment and have run into a problem where our SMTP relay servers used for notifications have been decommissioned, so I've been instructed to use the HTTPS protocol as a workaround, similar to how it works for the Hyperlfex autosupport and smart call home features..
Can we configure smart call home on UCS Manager to use HTTPS rather than SMTP? According to the document below, an active SMTP server is required to configure SCH, but the same document also states that the fabric interconnect must have IP connectivity to an email server or the destination HTTP server, which is a bit confusing. Could you please clarify this for me?
Thanks in advance for your help.
