UCS C200M3 vswitch 1 not pinging

hello,
i have two ucs c220m3 and now i have isntalled expe in one ucs and expc in one ucs.
as now for expe, i created new vswitch 1 and assign 1 port from UCSC200M3 4 port network card but it is not pingable from DMZ switch.
as port is showing connected and up but not able to access it..
any help would be appreciated..

What is the switch port configuration?
Make sure it is set to trunk, since vlan 21 is tagged by ESXi.
Are you able to ping the default gateway from the VM?

the port of switch is in access vlan port.
does it required to be trunk as i have assigned vlan 1 at esxi vswitch 1?

Yes, if you are tagging on ESXi, the switch port needs to be trunk, and don't forget to allow the vlan.

actually my EXPE in DMZ vlan 1 and it is connected to DMZ switch port 5 and i assigned vlan to virtual machine and still not pinging.
let me change the port to trunk and see if get the response from virtual machine.
