UCS-E160S-M3/K9 - Firmware and vmware pach compatbility

Hi,

Hardware Model : UCS-E160S-M3/K9

We are curretly using CIMC Firware Version 3.1 and planning to upgrade it to 3.2 along with vmware patch released for CISCO device.

Is new CISCO VMware ESXi release (VMware-ESXi-6.5.0-8294253-Custom-Cisco-6.5.2.1) is compatible with CIMC Firmware version Version: 3.2(4.20180315121704) ?

Greetings.

The Major release & update release numbers are what are used for the Cisco HCL (i.e. ESXi 6.0 U3, 6.5 U1), but you can utilize what ever minor patch release you need to and still be in a supported config.

The few exceptions to this rule are generally well documented in product release notes such as HyperFlex.
