UCS-M2-HWRAID ok to replace embedded soft raid in UCS C220 M5?

Looking for a solution to get ride of the embedded soft raid and it's never updated MegaSR driver...

Is it possible to use the existing boot disks with UCS-M2-HWRAID?

Any idea?

Believe those have different raid chipset MFG, so I would not expect you to be able to forklift the disks over without recreating the raid vol on new hardware controller.

+1 on saying good bye to the MegaSR software raid driver complications
