Hello,
I'm a n00b to the Cisco UCS platform.
I have a Cisco UCS 5108 with 4 blade servers, two 6324 Fabric Interconnects (with 8GB SFPs) that should connect to a NetApp 2650 storage (with 16GB SFPs). The storage has been setup, SVM ready, FC ports are on target mode.
My problem is getting the UCS 5108 enclosure up. I don't know how to configure service profiles, VSANs, storage connection policies...basically, I'm just plain confused as to what I need to do to make this chassis work.
The F.I. ethernet mode is end-host, FC is in switch mode. The FC ports are set as FC-storage ports, and are directly connected to the NetApp storage controllers' FC ports. They are not coming up however, still showing as down/ link failure or not connected.
I would like a simple way to setup the UCS; configure the enclosure to give me vNICs, vHBAs for my service profiles, bring up the FC ports to connect to my NetApp storage, and be able to power on my blades with all hardware components detected.
My UCS Manager is 3.1(3).

Is not the newest Document, but the setup of UCS is detailed quite nicely !
Otherwise check here:

Thanks Walter.
Going through the links now, I'm about to chew out NetApp for saying my configuration is not supported.
