Solved: UCUpgrade Issue

Hello all,

We have upgraded our Chasis & FI to latest to support IBM SAN V3700.

I use following files for upgrade:

ucs-k9-bundle-b-series.2.2.1d.B.bin

ucs-k9-bundle-infra.2.2.2c.A.bin

Upgrade went successful.

After upgrade completed, chasis is showing major alarm F0283: ether VIF 2041 on server 1/1 of switch A down.

Please check the attachments

I tried restarting the servers individual then whole chasis as well but alarm still there.

We dont have any OS installed into Blades its new installation.

Did any body faced same experience and what is solution for that ?

Hi Coniesaga,

Since you don't have an OS installed this is an expected behavior. Once you install the OS the faults will clear.

Issue fixed once we install OS into baldes.
