Dear Experts,
We are unable to access KVM console of UCS C220 M3 servers after firmware upgrade from 1.5 to 2.0. It downloads the jnlp file and opens Video Viewer Control windows with status showing as Connecting to KVM Server, but nothing happens. Before the upgrade KVM was working fine.
PC have latest java 7 update installed.
Appreciate any support.
Mathew

1. Are you accessing the KVM through CIMC?
If so, try using a monitor, the CIMC may have been restored to default and has no IP address
Verify(ping) as well that you can reach CIMC and if you do use https://
Also, verify if you connected to the connect ethernet port :)
2. Did you upgrade using HUU(Host Upgrade Utility)
If you didnt, you may have a problem there, both BIOS and ucs firmware needs to be compatible with each other. That is why cisco developed HUU to assist in updating
3. Still does work?
You might need to reset the CMOS, check the manual of your C-series
Typically, you need to short out some pins inside the server or worse case, you might need Cisco's tech support on site
to reload the firmware through hardware

Hello Gabrillo,
1. CICM ip address was verified after the upgrade and was accessed using https
2. Upgrade was done using HUU
3. We haven't involved Cisco yet, we are trying with options available locally
Cisco has unfortunately removed the "stable release" star after few days on this release :(

Hello,
we have done the connexion with 5 different PC.
In version 1.5(4d) : It's OK.
In version 2.0(1c) : Problem to access to kvm with 4 PC, Ok for 1.
In version 2.0(3d) : OK .
I've got the problem with 2 Ucs 240 and one Ucs220.
To answer to your question :
1) Yes.
2) Yes
3) Not done.
I think it's due to the version of HUU 2.0.1.
We have upgraded to 2.0.3(d) and now it's OK.
Best regards.
