Hi,
I have a server with 80Gb Memory installed(10x8Gb)
Now i tried upgrade memory installing two slots about 32Gb (2X32Gb)
The configuration i tried was:
CPU1 - 6*8GB (Slot A1A2B1B2C1C2)
CPU2 - 2*32Gb (Slot E1 F1) and another try on Slot E1 E2. Both fails
System stops at boot in testing memory.
Can someone help me?
Thanks

Please review the memory population rules at http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/products/collateral/servers-unified-computing/ucs-c-series-rack-servers/c220m4-sff-spec-sheet.pdf or if c220m3
The CPU 1 & 2 memory layout needs to mirror each other exactly.
You also need to fill out the first bank before moving to the next (i.e. A1-D1 before populating A2-D2).
I would also put the higher capacity DIMMs in A1, E1.
I am assuming the DIMMs are all of the same type, and are supported PIDs listed on the previously referenced spec sheet?
If you have a question about individual DIMM health,, I would start with populating just A1 and E1 slots,, and see if the server passes POST checks.
Thanks,
Kirk...
