Hi Folks,

Need some assistance here.

We are trying to connect our existing blades to a new Storage(EMC VNX).

We are running UCS B230 M2 blades and topology is below.

vHBA1 __ FI's(port fc2/1,fc2/2) > Connected to Brocade switch and these switches are connected to CX4-120 Storage

                vHBA2

 Blade -

                vHBA3 __ FI's(port fc2/3,fc2/4) > Connecting to MDS(9148) new VNX 5400 Storage via port Channel

                vHBA4

vHBA3, vHBA4 are newly connected.

Now i want to do zoning on MDS for these 2 new vHBA adapters but when i run "show flogi database' command on MDS, I'm unable to see

WWPN for these 2 vHBA adapters. Though WWPN for a port channel is visible in output of this command. I want to know if i need to do zoning

by using WWPN of this port channel?

I assume you created a service profiles, with vhba1-4 ?

Q. in which vsan's are this vhba's ?

Q. which pwwn / nwwn do this vhba's have ? btw. this are the pwwn which show up in the flogi database, and which are used for zoning.
