I have a customer who has a catalyst 5000 with a ws-x5403 blade and wants to connect to 3 sites using gig. The problem is ports 2 and 3 on this blade come up inactive. Is there a way to set up all three of these ports as gig to multiple sites?

I am adding a subscriber to an existing cluster which is running cm ver 3.3.3sr4. The disks I have are for cm 3.3.2 is there going to be a problem connecting to the newer database? If so what are my options?

I am looking to put a pix in front of my voice servers. The problem I am anticipating is the udp ports used by rtp 16384 and up. If you open all of those ports what is the use of having a pix. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It says that the cat5000 port 1 active 2 and 3 inactive does this mean there is a backplane limitation with the chasis so it cannot support 3 gig ports? So this 2 ports are useless.

I have installed nav 8.0 on cm 3.3(2)spc and 3.2. It works fine but you do not want to schedule any real time monitoring during peak hours.
