If we have broadcast storm in the VPLSwill it be CPU processed,I mean to say like in a normal L2 switch scenario whenever there is a brodcast storm the cpu of L2 switch will go high but in the case of VPLS lets say in 7600 will the cpu also spike.

Wud overall stp convergence take place if access port flaps having pc connected to it.If port fast is enabled then it should transisition immediately to forwarding and overall stp convergence should not take place.Any suggestion???
What you r saying that the CPU will spike if VPLS level broadcaststorm takes place.What if there is no laye 3 interface on 7600 just configured with vpls and L2 loop happens(cpu wud spike or no).Do u have any document refering this.thanks

The same documents states below also"An important point to consider here is that a TCN does not start a STP recalculation".Thats what I was saying its not neccessary STP convergence will happen if access port flaps.
i still doubt on stp convergence trigger if access port flaps to which end station is connected as it will not recieve BPDU on that port.Do you have document supporting this?
