Hi, thanks for your reply. I have already looked at that page. I was just wondering if I could upgrade the RAM without having to discard any SIMM/DIMM which is already present.I guess I'm just going to have to get the screwdrivers out ;-)

Port 15/1 is the internal link to the MSFC. It isn't a trunk link to a device external to the switch which has the problem.
