my problem is at enable step.when pressed , it asks for a password. even though i am using the recovery mode, seems like that i need to know the enable password. Anyway this step can be bypassed ?

Thanks M. I'll go through these links and report back if I have further questions. I think it just comes down to OS version which we really can't upgrade given the other challenges that are going to come with it.
