Is ther e a way to see the status of a 7960 phone without assistant? I just want to know if the phone is in use before resetting. In a Meridian PBX you can stat a phone and it will tell you if it is idle or busy.
It could be because of the E-1 to T-1 conversion but we actuallly we input bearer-cap speech on the voice port these calls were hitting and it cleared the issue.
I have done this with a middleware from Checkmate. We have been running it for about three years. The Checkmate software runs on a Virtual server. Another way is to configure QSIG on the PBX. CallManager supports QSIG.

It is already set up this way. This was working until last Thursday. Then after resetting everything, CCM's, routers, PBX trunks,,, it still does not function going through the Hunt group.. It is like a secoondary forward has been turned off.
