That worked well, although I should point out that the applet<>TCL converter did not properly substitute underscores for hyphens.
e.g.
enterprise-oid should convert to enterprise_oid

The LX4 type transceiver is not compatible with LR or SR SFP+ transceivers. LX4 is only compatible with a corresponding LX4, for which there is no SFP+ equivalent.
