The FEXes are online now. I just configured the fex ports and connected them. After the image upgrade they were ready to be configured.

provision does not work, even with listed hardware. Next week we are going to connect our FEXes and hope, they will come online. I'll post an update once they are installed.

I Opened a SR. The answer was:Unfortunately, the N9K switches, unlike N5K, do not support pre-provisioning. Even if 2248TP-E were present in the list, this wouldn’t have helped you.
