I've used enhanced Etherswitch modules before but never in the way I am thinking for a solution for a customer. They want a data center in a box solution so I am spec'ing out 1 3945 with UCS/CUCME/Unity/etc plus a 24 port PoE Etherswitch (SM-ES3G-24...
I have searched and searched but can't find the document to answer this. I know that every port on a 6248 or 6296 needs to be licensed to work whether it's Ethernet, FC, or FCoE. We know it's supported and we want to connect a pair of 2232PP FEX up...
I haven't run into this before and I can't find anything in the documentation regarding it. (Our 2 4710 were setup prior in a routed configuration although I personally see no reason for it.) Regardless, we have 2 servers that host 4 websites on th...

If we open an IE web browser to either server directly, single sign-on works and we get right to the website. When we go through the ACE using the VIP, it doesn't work at all, so my feeling is something in the ACE is causing it. Chrome/Firefox d...
In the inital post where I put "The N7K sees the server MAC in the FIP snooping, it also sees the 5548 as it's FCF. But the 5548 vfc is stuck in "initializing". I meant to put N4K...not N7K...sorry about that.
