Hi, I completed the upgrade on both of my Sup-2T's. The steps didn't appear at all like the document said they would though. My goal in using the document in the first place was to follow the best practice. Thanks for your reply. I've noticed none of the instructions for the upgrade (found in the release notes) match the actual locations (eg. no slot0 - and current image shows in bootdisk:). Is there a document that more closely matches what I will actually see when moving to the new IOS version? ... View more

Probably worth mentioning I have the document for the upgrade using TFTP but I undertsand you can perform the upgrade via the console too. Thanks for the information. The one key difference between what is shown and what I experience is I cannot management my devices from the management port, only the service port allows me that access. Given the information I viewed in the video's and documentation that appears to be odd. Is there something known where if you use the service port somehow it disbales the ability to get to the device GUI from the management port IP? Thanks, ... View more

Hi, I foiund the issue. I am using the management port and the service port on my 5508. The requests to my radius server appear to be coming from the service port, when I setup the radius client to be the management port IP. I would have assume that communication from the service port wouldn't have done requests of this nature. When I changed my radius client config to reflect the IP of the service port instead the authentication works now. I used the command debug aaa events enable to verify that the request was actually being sent to the radius server at all. nothing in that command told me however that the sending port wasn't the management port, which was confusing and my assumption all along. ... Some additional information is the unit is running version 7.3.101.0 and there appears to be an error as it scrolls through the boot which talks about not accepting the EULA (I wasn't prompted to accept anything in the initial startup questions) ... View more
