Does anyone have any idea how long it will be until we see OSPFv3 authentication in NX-OS? We now have it in both IOS and IOS XR, but the latest releases of NX-OS still do not support it.

The 1921 is a lower end model then the 1841. It has less sustained throughput then the 1841's 38 Mbps.A proper replacement for the 1841 would be a 1941, though at this point you may want to consider going straight to a 4321, or a 4331.
Because the 1921 is intended for very small SOHO deployments. It only has a sustained throughput rating of 15 Mbps. You typically would not be using a rack in a deployment that small, you would just stick it on a desk or a shelf. Some folks do use it...
Is there more to your setup then is indicated in your diagram? You cannot just connect a FEX to a router you need the FEX to be connected back to a nexus mother switch.
A few things here:1. When you put "copy xmodem: flash: file name.bin" you are just using shorthand, and are actually putting in "copy xmodem: flash: [actual name of the IOS image you want to transfer]", correct?2. Ommit the space after the "flash:", ...
