Upgrading through the GUI doesn't work in 2.6. Try using the method outlined in my blog to upgrade from 2.6 to 2.7.

What is the name of the collection profile? If you go to Application Settings > Export Options, could you send a screenshot of that?
Also, is there any reason you deployed a 2.5 instead of a 2.6?

Do you still not see your upload or the upload processing tab? It should appear after your first successful upload.
What is the OVA name of the image you deployed?
