I've heard a rumour that Cisco is going to be selling a repackaged version of Opsware NAS, maybe called Cisco Configurator or something? Any details? This would be great for anyone stuck using RME but married to Cisco.
What happens to LMS 2.5x when you remove the RME component? Do you lose the DCR functionality? How does this impact Campus Manager and DFM? Can RME even be removed?
Cisco has the perfect tool for you, it is called the Cisco Compliance Manager I believe, or Network Compliance Manager (NCM)? It is an OEM version of Opsware NAS (www.opsware.com) and it has canned compliancy reports for ITIL, HIPPA, SOX, etc.
