Hey all,
The problem. Ports don't provide POE via CDP or LLDP. The temp fix is to cold boot switch. Nothing else works.
I have spent that last 2 weeks working through 2960X POE issues. TAC has confirmed that there are issues with IOS 15.2(4) E5 and recommend upgrading to E6 code. Problem is my 2960X switches are running E6 code. not all ports fail. Just some. Had 3 switches fail. But have hundreds being deployed as we type this. Had 6 TAC engineers Case (SR685943203) and now a 7th wanting to look at a 2960X switch I have a in a failed state. No resolution at this time.
Anyone solve this?

I have just started deploying Avaya IP phones on Cisco 2960X switches stacked. After some time a block of 14 ports will quit providing POE. Nothing fixes the issue until we cold boot the switch. Anyone has this problem? Here is stack information

For quick reference the logs that the device will give:
Approached.
%BW_LICENSE-4-THROUGHPUT_MAX_LEVEL: SIP0: cpp_ha: Average throughput rate approached the licensed bandwidth of 2000000000 bps during 1 sampling periods in the last 24 hours, sampling period is 300 seconds
Exceeding 95% threshold.
%BW_LICENSE-5-THROUGHPUT_THRESHOLD_LEVEL: F0: cpp_ha: Average throughput rate exceeded 95 percent of licensed bandwidth 20000000000 bps 25 times, sample period 300 seconds, in last 24 hours
Exceeded.
%BW_LICENSE-4-THROUGHPUT_MAX_LEVEL: F0: cpp_ha: Average throughput rate exceeded the total licensed bandwidth 20000000000 bps and dropped 8 times, sample period 300 seconds, in last 24 hours
The document describe the behavior for ASR1001-X but it the logs and throughput license is the same as the ISR4000 family.

Thank you. Yes I have seen those commands. This is the only CLI command I can find that shows how I might be bumping up against the aggregate license threshold.

We are deploying Avaya IP phones into our Cisco 2960X switches. We have several switches in a stack. The ports just quit supplying power to the port that feeds the Avaya IP phone. When we reboot the switch they supply power for a day or so. Then quit again. We are not overloaded or out of power. Running 15.2.4re6 IOS.
