Hello,
We have a cloud PBX and 32 Cisco 504G phones, with some yealink phones. All cisco phones are not registering the time zone correctly. It shows the primary and secondary NTP servers but its displaying the time 6 hours ahead.
I tried overriding her time zone to the following:
Primary_NTP_Server="nist.time.gov"
Time_Zone="GMT-05:00"
Still no luck. Any suggestions, would appreciate it.

Instead of nist.time.gov, try NTP time.google.com

NTP server provides GMT time only - by design. So switching time source have no chance to help. @Cra31858 is true, it's about timezone setting. Unfortunately, there are various method of the time offset configuration. It includes information obtained from DHCP. It's not documented how the different method interacts if used simultaneously. I suspect that DHCP delivers different timezone and such information is preferred over the timezone configured.
