16E1 ISDN to C7(SS7) protocol converter

Hi All,

I am not familiar with protocol converters, but I need a hardware protocol converter that will support at least 16E1s converting from ISDN to C7.

The converter will connect between Cisco AS535 and Siemens SS7 switch.

Please advise on the cheapest, best solution.

If it is really about C7 (the ITU, not the ANSI variant), I am sure that I know the right product. Carrier-grade equipment and it is not costly at all.

ISDN sides supports only ETSI (NET5). QSIG is not supported.
