Two sites, Site A and Site B. CUCM PUB and 1 CUCM Sub in Site A and 2 CUCM Sub in Site B. Region setting had G.711 codec for calls between site A and site B but recently I changed that to G.729 due to bandwidth issue between those sites.
My supervisor wants me to find a solution which allows every call from/to to the 7937 phones to use G.711 codec for quality issues and leave the rest of the phones to use G.729 from the region setting. I wonder how it is possilble. Does it make sense to create a new region and device pool and setup the region to use G.711 for calls between those sites?
