7970G' is "blinking"... nothing more

Gday, Guys.

Here is the problem: the ipphone 7970G, after it's been powered up, displays nothing more, than prety Cisco logo. It replies to icmp_request, and sometimes programmable buttons are blinking in turn in green. Such a strange behaviour surprised me a lot: this phone was working fine with CME 3.2 (FW is for 7960) during 3 weeks. Now it isn't react to any button's touch.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

Did you perform factory reset. Sometimes this works.

Procedure

Step 1 Unplug the power cable from the phone and then plug it back in.

The phone begins its power up cycle.

Step 2 While the phone is powering up, and before the Speaker button flashes on and off, press #.

Each line button flashes on and off in sequence.

Step 3 Press 123456789*0#.

You can press a key twice in a row, but if you press the keys out of sequence, the factory reset will not take place.

After you press these keys, the phone will go through the factory reset process.

After carefull reading, I performed such a procedure repeatedly, but it's not working after all. I.e. this procedure doesn't even affect to the phone and it's continuing flash in green with headset button permanent lighting green too. Background image is _dim_ Cisco logo.

Any ideas ?
