Adding a service number for UK in CUCM

Hi,

I wish to add a service number so that when a user dials 101 from their handset in the UK they will be connected to the local non emergency based police line.

I have read online that it might need to be done via digit manipulation, but are there any procedures or douments giving step by step guidance as to how to do this?

Hi James

Your requirement can be achieved through translation pattern on CUCM .. Let say you have 101 emergency number and which eventually need to be connected to non emergency number..

So create translation pattern (digit manipulation) for 101 number and put your non emergency number (let say 12345) . Then create route pattern for non emergency(12345) number and point to destined route.

For document I need to check .. But you can follow above steps to meet your requirement .
