My AS5300 (IOS 12.2(5)) is communicate to AS5300 (IOS 12.2(15), T12). The problem is that the call is disconnected every 5 second after connection.

Here is the ISDN debug informatiom:

1w5d: ISDN Se0:15: TX -> RELEASE_COMP pd = 8 callref = 0x8009

Now, is really the IOS that causing this problem?

Secondly, is my Cisco disconnected the call due to "Unknown Service Discriminator"?

How can i locate the real root cause?

Is upgrading my Cisco IOS will solve the issue?

If yes, will this problem happen to all my existing termination via VOIP?

P/S: I don't face this problem at all to the rest of my termination via VOIP.

Please advise, Thanks.

Problem could be with connection speed. Set speed on one end for 56K.

Dear Umedryk,

I was wondering how could that be an issue ?

Can you please elaborate?

The reason being so is that my CISCO 5300 communicate to different IOS version that receiving the VOIP call but no similiar problem occur.

Regards,
