Hi,

You're using the wrong DVD. You are using a recovery disc. You need the installation media.

Hope it helps, please rate if it does.

Adrian.

Hi

I have got my lab setup with router 2620XM, 2950 switch, 4 ip phones 7960. The ip phones are ringing each other with the switch and router that l have set up in my lab. I have set up my callmanager 8.0(2C) which am able to open the home page for the administration, OS, servicabilty etc. I have connected the callmanager to the network which it can ping the the switch and the router using utilis network ping x.x.x.x to make sure that there is a connection. I have enabled the dhcp on the callmanager under the sytem, dhcp sever, dhcp subnet, maybe l need more info to enter which am not sure. I have also actived the dhcp monitor service. But the problem that l have is that when l power up the ip phones, it could not load the software from the callmanger to the phones to make the callmanager take control of the VOIP network that l set up. But ip phones is loading up the Vlan and loading the firmware from the flash of the router without the callmanger. Pls l need some help.

Hi

Option 150 on the DHCP server determines where the phone downloads firmware and configuration from. You should have this set to your CUCM IP address.

In your phone network settings, you should see 'TFTP Server 1' contains the CUCM address if you have done this correctly.

Regards

Aaron

Hi

Neither the CSS of the gateway or the CSS of the calling phone are relevant to this scenario.

Only the CTI Port CSS is relevant.

Calling phones and gateways must have the CTI RPs and CTI Ports accessible in their CSS, but it is not necessary for them to have the destination phones in their CSS.

Regards

Aaron
