Hi,
I'm trying to work out whether Unity's call handler function could forward a call to an indirect PSTN location e.g.
PSTN phone number > remote system answers > unity then dials extra digits.
This is so that a 3rd party number can be dialled as an internal number for our users.
Is this possible?

Hi Chris,
Do you mean CUC can transfer/forward call to PSTN number ?
Can you explain call flow in little bit detail.

Hi Suresh.
I'll try and be a bit clearer. I would like unity to dial a PSTN number, have the remote end answer (automated TUI), then send a few dtmf tones (so that the remote end puts the call to a particular extension) and then hand the call off to the original caller.
e.g. say I want to reach extension 123 at 301 555 1221 the PSTN number dialled would be 1301551221
once answered dtmf tones for 123 would be sent.
The remote system would forward the call to the correct extension, the local caller would not be aware of the indirect dial.
I can achieve this as an end user in Jabber by placing a comma after the main number, e.g. 1301551221,123
I would like to achieve the same within Unity. (I've already confirmed CUCM cannot forward a call in this way.)
(note: extension 123 in this example does not have a direct dial PSTN number)
