i have third party ip phones connected to my cisco 2950 switches. i want to provide QoS to the voice data . the catalyst has the software image ea1
so i cantuse auto qos voip. Now i want to make a seperate voice vlan for the voice ports.
But i dont know whether the ip phones support ieee 802.1q or 802.1p.
Can the switch itself do the tagging for the QoS.
Furthermore how should i configure voice vlan. There are two three configuration methods in official 2950 doc and i m confused which one to use
