do i need to activate sip ua for inbound sip communiction from other ipbx

hi

we have 3 ipbx, 2 cisco and i siemens. the siemens has a hg1500 card that support native sip. now the cisco makes calls to the siemens without any issues. but we can seem to make any calls to the cme. do i have to enable any sip gateways or pass through on the cme for it to work?

Hi,

You don't necessary have to enable sip-ua, you should be able to call between the 3 devices using sip trunks (dial-peer) pointing to each device.
