Fax T38 Over IP : Is it related to Software MTP CUCM

I have implemented VOIP and CUCM for enterprise solution.

My setup is like this:-

Fax1>>CCM5.0>>IPIPGW(transcoder)>>SSW>>Gateway>>PSTN>>Fax2

What is the possibility of FAX T38 not going through even the call signaling & setup have been established and fax tone heard, but there are no response from remote fax.

Is it related to CCM5.0 MTP? As I have this "MTP" check at the SIP trunk to the SSW for sending SIP early-offer.

My apologize.. the CCM actually is connecting ti the IPIPGW.. it is connected to the SSW>> PSTN GW>>> FAX 2.

Attached is the log captured from the CCM..

Fax called from 13324220 to 0060380243462.

I got request time-out error and "request pending error" from the SSW.

Is it related to Carrier/Provider problem or MTP itself?

What faxserver product are you using and what is the topology

GW---SIP---CUCM5.X---SIP---FAXSERVER?

We are not using any fax server. We did fax call to the PSTN fax. Actually, what is the purpose of fax server?
