I am trying to find out if its possible to divert an incoming PSTN call through an FXO (origination) port to a FXO/FXS/E&M (destination) port (on the same router) which is always open or off-hook . The incoming call can be automatically answered without picking up the phone handset (which is connected to the destination FXO/FXS/E&M port).
Something like this -
PSTN ---> FXO ---> FXO/FXS/E&M (always off-hook) ---> phone set
I have tried the config below but it requires someone to answer (off-hook) the phone when it rings.
voice-port 1/0/0 (FXO port with PSTN line)
connection plar 100
dial-peer voice 100 pots
destination-pattern 1..
port 1/1/0 (E&M port with PBX phone line)
Thanks very much.

Try using the 'connection trunk
So you could have something like this:
voice-port 0/0/0
connection trunk 1001
voice-port 0/0/1
connection trunk 1002
dial-peer voice 1 pots
destination-pattern 1001
port 0/0/1
dial-peer voice 2 pots
destination-pattern 1002
port 0/0/0

Follow your config. I have a question. Do i need to configure a dial-peer voice voip because the 'show voice port summary' shows the connection trunk is not operating.
# show voice port summary
PORT CH SIG-TYPE ADMIN OPER STATUS STATUS EC
====== == ========== ===== ==== ======== ======== ==
1/0/0 -- fxo-ls up dorm trunked trunked n
1/0/1 -- fxo-ls up dorm trunked trunked n

I have put in a dial-peer voice voip in the config. This time the connection trunk is operating.
# show voice port summary
PORT CH SIG-TYPE ADMIN OPER STATUS STATUS EC
====== == ========== ===== ==== ======== ======== ==
1/0/0 -- fxo-ls up up trunked trunked n
1/0/1 -- fxo-ls up up trunked trunked n
The problem now is when I call the PSTN line connected to FXO port 1/0/0, it is always engaged. What should I do?
