Hi,

I'm using cisco ATA 186 with latest firmware 3.0.0 ,its a H.323 based. Can i implement voice QOS in the ATA itself ?

Please help me out...

Hi,

You can use the TOS Parameter in the ATA Configuration page.

Below I pasted the section on the TOS field. What value would I use to set my voice stream to DSCP value of EF?

Description - This parameter allows you to configure Type of Service (ToS) bits by specifying the precedence and delay of audio and signaling IP packets, as follows:

Bits 0-7 These bits are for the ToS value for voice data packets. Range: 0-255 Default: 184

Bits 8-15 These bits are for the ToS value for signaling-data packets. Range: 0-255 Default: 168

Bits 16-31 Reserved.

Value Type: Bitmap

Default: 0x0000A8B8

Voice Configuration Menu Access Code: 255
