504G LDAP lookup for incoming or outgoing calls supported?

Hi,

we have 2 504G phones, with which we would have liked to use caller ID lookup via LDAP.

Does anyone know if this is supposed to work in either direction?

Ours don't seem to work, but manual lookup does.

It's not possible, as far as I know. LDAP can be used for phone book only - no online reverse resolution of a number to a name is possible.

But PBX may be capable to do it - and it can deliver names to phone using standard SIP protocol. We implemented the feature this way on our PBX (we use other database instead of LDAP - but matter is the same).
