We have been using the SPA502/504 phones on Broadsoft and Asterisk. When using the 500S sidecar on firmware 7.4.8 the blind transfer works. Process is: when on a live call press the bxfer softkey then press the BLF key on the sidecar and the call transfers immediately and sends caller ID to the extension.
We upgraded a test site to 7.4.9 to combat the freezing. Now the bxfer and the sidecar do not work. When following the process above, after pressing the BLF key on the sidecar the call turns into an announced transfer and rings the extension to announce and does not send the caller's CID. If the user enters the extension on the keypad instead of pressing the BLF key the call is transfered correctly.
I have tried changing the FNC key to just SD + BLF instead of SD + BLF + CP and that did not help.
