We have just upgraded our UC520 to version 8 and our bulk-speed-dials now do not work on our 7931G IP Phones, they work OK on our other IP phones.
The phone loads have upgraded Ok
But when we dial the prefix and the list number followed by the entry number on the 7931 is just displays Unknown Number
Is anyone else having the same problem?

IP Phone firmware for the 7931 should not be causing this, as this is handled by the call control system, same as dialing a number.
Your bulk speed dial begins with what digit?
And when dialing out, you are on a regular DN, not a FXO shared line correct?
A capture of the ephone debug during the call failure would help.

Hi Ron
The Bulk speed dials are working as we have 29 7911 IP phones and the bulk speed dials work OK on these. I have also upgraded another site to 8.0.1 and we have the same problem on the 7931 phones and all the other phones work fine which are a mixture of 7970, SPA500's and 7911's.
So we logged a TAC and the assigned engineer wants us to upgrade the 7931 phone loads to 8-5-4 but as yet we can only find 8-5-4 phoneloads for the UCM and not the UC520 and we are waiting for confirmation that they are compatible before we try and use them.

If you use the cmterm-7931-sccp.8-5-4.zip file, you should be fine. Do not use the .cop files.
