I purchased the SPA2102 a couple of days ago, and was able to go into the configuration and set up my VOIP. The phone is working now, but I need to go back into config to set up some other options. When I enter http://192.168.0.1 into my browser, it can't connect.
I dialed **** and then 210# on my phone to get the IP address of it and that is what it gives me.
I have tried accessing it by connecting it directly to my cable modem, and then my pc directly to the 2102. I have also tried it with everything hooked up to my router. In both cases I can't connect to that IP address which is odd because it worked 2 days ago for the initial setup.
Does anyone know how I can get back into the config?
Thanks in advance!

By default, the web server responds only to requests incoming from Ethernet port and only if the operation mode is in Router.
If you switch from Router modality to Bridge modality the SPA doesn't respond any more from the Ethernet port but only from Internet port and only if you have enable the remote management option.
Can you "ping" your SPA? What modality have you set? Do you have enabled remote management?
In every case you can reset the spa to factory default with this procedure:
RESET Linksys SPA2102:
connect a phone into TEL1 port
digit **** then
73738# then
1 to confirm
Regards.

Dave,
If you are connecting to the LAN port, dial ****210# to get the LAN IP address of the SPA2102. ****110# gives the WAN IP which you should be able to connect to through the router. Check out the following page which details some other IVR codes:

Dear Daniele and mpyhala,
I am new in this Forum and I dare to rply just to provide some more info for the problem described by Dave since I have the same problem. However while he was able to go into the configuration and set up his VOIP, in my case I have never succeeded to enter in the config web interface. I bought the SPA2102 2 days ago.
I am confused on the address to use for the the web config of the SPA2102. I am not really an expert in networks but I have already a PAP2T and I never had such a problem.
From my modem/router (a Zyxel P-660HW-D1) I see the following Client List
Marianna-PC 192.168.1.33
LinksysPAP 192.168.1.34
192.168.1.35
AMDX2 192.168.1.36
SipuraSPA 192.168.1.37
If I ping 192.168.1.37 (IP got when dialing ****110#) then I get the reply but if I ping192.168.0.1 (IP got when dialing ****210#) then I get "Request time out".
I have tried to use both 192.168.1.37 and 192.168.0.1 to connect to the SPA config web interface but it doesn't work.
I have followed Daniele's instructions to reset the spa to factory default with no results.
Do you have other suggestions/explanations for that?
Thanks in advance!

Hello Comar,
Welcome to the community! Check out the link that I included in my last response to Dave. In the IVR codes you will find the following:
Please dial * * * * 7932 and enter "1" to enable the WAN port Web Server. After you do this you should have access to the device at 192.168.1.37 with your PC plugged into the router.
If you wish to access the Web Server from a PC plugged into the ethernet port of the SPA2102, plug the PC in and then "Repair" the network connection. You should get an IP address from the SPA2102 that looks like 192.168.0.x Then you will be able to access the Web Server at 192.168.0.1. If you reconnect to the other router you may need to repair again to get a new IP address from that device.
Please reply if you have any other questions.

Dear mpyhala,
I reply just to say that your answer was exactly what I needed!
It is really fantastic to find persons like you that are able to help newcomers like me.
Just a question:
why the option you mention in your answer is not enabled by default? Is there any incovenient to enable it?
Thanks a lot,
Marco

Hi Comar,
Glad I could help. The WAN port web server is disabled by default to help prevent unauthorized access to the settings of the device. When it is enabled it is possible for someone to access the device from any LAN device or the internet and change your settings. It is usually best to configure the device from the LAN port if possible.

An old thread but wanted to acknowledge mpyhala's response which was very helpful five years later. I thought my SPA2102 was done for and a couple of weeks looking for a solution yielded nothing. Then I found this thread, saved me $50-$70 buying a new ATA. Thanks.
