CCA Method and/or easiest way to swap/change phones for users

I am looking for a CCA method to change out phones when they have been replaced under warranty or in this case I need to move them from a 524g to a 509g.

I had hoped that the user setup section of the voice wizard was available as a standalone tool but its not.

What is the best method to swap phones between two registered phones?

What is the best method to change out a registered phone and replace it with an unregistered phone?

Hello Johnny,

With older versions of CCA, it was possible to just go into the phone, and change the MAC address, and the type.  But with the new versions, this is not possible, as you do not have the option to edit the MAC address of the phone.  The only way to change out, or swap phones  through CCA would be to totally remove the old phone, and create a new phone.   Just remember when you do this, you will also remove the users voicemail...

Hi Johnny,

If the method provided by Darren is not suitable, then I can work the config up for you and you will only need to copy and paste it if you follow the instructions to the "T".

I would need the ephone-dn the old phone is attached too and the ephone the old phone is attached to, this way I can keep it within CCA scope, and we only have to change minimal things.

I am stummped why CCA cannot do this, but no point in complaining about it, just better of offering you a solution and a helping hand
