Cisco 8841 with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Software - 12.8(1) Firmware - Headset does not work

Hi togehter,

I have a Cisco 8841 Phone with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Software - 12.8(1) Firmware. It is connected to a Fritzbox Router and works fine. Except for one Thing. I cannont get the Headset working. When you press the headset button the headset symbol shows up in the display. But no sound and no micorphone working. It is not the Volume. And the Headset (Sennheiser SC 260) works. It even works when i connect it to the Handset Connector. Is it a configuration problem? Or am I just to stupid to press the right button, or have a propper cnf.xml-file. Can anybody help? Thank you very much in advance. Alf

I had the wrong connection cable. Thanks to the Sennheiser Helpdesk I now hav the correct cable and everything works like a charme.
