This SPA504g phone had power issues when upgrading its firmware. I have tried using spa50x-7-4-4-recovery which gives an error "Recovery Failed: Cannot find the specified device!".
The phone and PC are on the same subnet (10.50.60.0/24) and i have turned off windows firewall. No TFTP server exists on the computer. I have tried using the mac address, FFFFFFFFFFFF and the serial number, but the recovery tool still gives the error.
I know the phone gets an IP address via DHCP... in this case 10.50.60.159, however that IP is not pingable.
Is there anything I can do short of an RMA to get this phone operational again? I will have to do this for multiple customers phones once I find a working method.
