Can Cisco SPA122 box work as SIP gateway?

My PBX (SIP Only) cannot understand format what the sip provider specifically requires (P-Asserted-Identity with specific format) but SPA112 can.

So what I want is I want to connect my PBX to LAN port of SPA122 (SPA122 serves as sip server), and WAN port of SPA122 to SIP provider (SPA122 as sip client).

[PBX]---[LAN SPA122 WAN]---SIP Provider

So LAN port needs to listen sip (udp 5060) as sip gateway or proxy.

Is this possible?

So the SPA 122 talks to your SIP server? yes, can be done.
This is how I've done my SPA 122 and Asterisk.
