Hi,
First off, I'm a bit of a novice at stuff like this. But this is something I need help with. I have a Cisco SPA122 that we use to "digitalize" our Faxes and doorphones and stuff like that.
I need to deactivate the port Line 1 when I loose Internet Connection on the Internet Port. Is it possible to do so?
Best regards,
Anders

Although I'm unsure the exact meaning of term "deactivate" you used, but particular Line become not ready if it is unable to register to SIP proxy.

Hi.
If lets say the Internet connection to the SPA122 dies, there is a problem with the ISP or something. The SPA122 still sends a 23 volt signal to the FAX/Phone. Its tricking us that its still "Active" but its not..

Low line voltage on POTS line mean "line is in use" (by other device connected in parallel). The "READY TO DIAL" signal is dial tone. Missing dial tone claim line not ready for dialing.
Properly configured fax should detect such condition and act accordingly. Well, so cheap faxes may not have dial tone detection. They assume the line is ready all the times.
No way to configure SPA122 to announce "not ready" by "line used" signal.
Either configure fax to detect dial tone or you are out of luck.
