End to end multilanguage procedure for UC500?

Hello,

We often need to use dual language on UC500 units (520/540/560) and updated written information would be very helpful for delegating this procedure.

There is scattered information and some manuals available on this forum but they may not be fully up to date.
I am also told that there are enhancements in CCA making some things easier as well.

What we are looking for specifically is a high level description of the all the actions needed to be taken for a full multilanguage setup:

• Procedure for implementing localisation on the phones
• Procedure for implementing dual language on Unity Express voicemail
• Procedure for implementing dual language on Unity express Auto Attendant.
• Anything else useful( templates) or procedures stuff we may have forgotten...

Is this possible?

Cisco Unified CME provides internal localization support for 12 languages including English and 16 countries including the United States. User locales specify the language to use for text displays; network locales specify country-specific tones and cadences.

This is the default way the language of my the phones in my lab looks

You can ue the user-locale command to customize the language that the display of the IP phone uses. You may define up to five languages on the system.

You can now set up the language of the voicemail to a particular user

and you have also in System -> Prompts 2 languages:

in which you can use on your AA Configuration, or better yet set up prompt managment to configure AA
