I have a few 502G units and they are provisioned using .cfg files located on a tftp server. After update firmware to 7.5.3
I noticed frequent rebooting the phone. In logs a see
Reboot History | |||
Reboot Reason 1: | Provisioning(11/17/2012 20:54:43) | Reboot Reason 2: | Provisioning(11/17/2012 20:51:41) |
Reboot Reason 3: | Provisioning(11/17/2012 20:48:36) | Reboot Reason 4: | Provisioning(11/17/2012 20:45:33) |
Reboot Reason 5: | Provisioning(11/17/2012 20:42:29) |
My .cgf file have
<Default_Character_Encoding ua="na">UTF-8</Default_Character_Encoding>
but in http interface on phone I see
Default Character Encoding: ISO-8859-1
Now I understand the reason for frequent reboots, the configuration of the phone, and the .cfg file non-matching.
On firmware 7.5.2b such problem was not.

Do you have a BMP picture loaded in the screen?
If so, it could be our problem... https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3786793#3786793
Let me know, because I'm going crazy about this!

I have another problem, I have not random reboot, i have reboot only time out provisioning.
I can not set Default_Character_Encoding UTF-8, or GUI(http) or through provisioning.
Sorry for my bad English
